As you may be aware, Kathy Malera Bandjalan, the CEO/Editor of the Journal is the Australian Representative for the Indigenous People's Sattelie at the XVI International AIDS conference to be held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, August 13-18, 2006.

She is committed to providing information about this conference to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians to ensure our full participation.

This information may be of use to you or your organisation.

The Journal did not receive a budget to facilitate the process but we are ensuring our peoples' participation as stated.

Please be aware that the new AIDS2006 website was postponed until November 7th. This website is constantly updated to ensure accurate, clear and functional information is communicated across the board.

All interested parties are invited to visit the website and submit abstracts and apply for the International Scholarships. You are also encouraged to share and discuss the information provided with family, friends and colleagues throughout your networks.
